About Us

 

The owner, Dennis Ashmann, qualified in Automotive Engineering, served his apprenticeship in Zimbabwe and immigrated to South Africa in 1981.

 

He started Denlantis Engineering in Boksburg North and sold it in 1999.

 

In 2002 Dennis opened Highveld Motor & Diesel in Boksburg North and was approached by a customer to buy the business.  He sold in 2009 and spent his time restoring vintage cars.

 

Many old customers asked Dennis to open another engineering shop and Heritage Automotive Engineering opened doors in March 2012.
